Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, actress, American stage and screen actor and producer. She is best known as an actress in films for her performances in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She received a B.A. with a major in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School of acting at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer active in theater, film and TV. Her acting career started in the theater. She then appeared in several television shows as well as independent and mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. The BET's epic series The Book of Negroes she appeared. Not only did she be praised by critics for her character, she did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. In 1995, she made her debut as Ariel on stage as Ariel in The Tempest. On Broadway she was a part of the cast on stage in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. In her film career her most well-known roles are roles such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. On television her regular role in ABC's police drama series High Incident has earned her high praise.
